and i won't take that!

i've noticed that the most random things happen to me since i have moved out to the burbs. for some reason, things seem even more strange than when in the city. maybe it is because you just know that everyone is crazy in nyc and you expect strange things to happen. in fact, you actually look forward to it.

when these things happen in the burbs, they are just plain annoying.

for example. the other day i was at my local stop 'n shop, picking up a few things. the cashier was scanning my items. when she got to my oatmeal, she scanned and scanned the box but the item was "not found". not to worry. she scanned and swipped the box about 10 more times. usually if you swipe the boxes harder, the price will appear.
annoyed, she looked and me and in very broken english, asked if i knew the price. i didn't. i really had no clue. i could guess $3, but i just shrugged my shoulders.
the lady looked around for help i am assuming. There must not have been anyone around to assist so she put my box of oatmeal under her register. she then told me my total.
i was confused. i said, "and that is with the oatmeal?" she said, "oh! you want that?" well, since it doesn't scan and you are too retarded to ask for a price check, nope, i will pass!
umm ... YES!
so some other girls walks by and my cashier asks her the price.
$3 she says.
ugh.

my christian louboutin "decollete" camel pumps i picked up at saks earlier this year. they are a perfect neutral color, just enough toe cleavage, and 110 pitches - high high high!!! sexy!

i'm always rushing around in the morning - shower, get dressed, apply make-up, make coffee, feed the dog, close all doors, dog-proof the cabinets. OH! and walk millie. and by the time i actually get around to walking her, she has literally one minute to do her business.
is it fair? no, not really. but it's what happens every day.
what drives me sooo crazy though, is that i know she has to poop, she is about to go, and then she won't! she paces and paces to find the perfect patch of grass or gravel. i can never understand, if you have to go, what's the difference between here and there? why waste my time!?!
then i realized, millie isn't that different from you and i. will you just poop anywhere? we all try to find that "perfect spot." one afternoon while wandering around the city, i suddenly got the urge. i had to make a choice. the starbucks on canal in chinatown or virgin megastore in union square. they are both a crap shoot (pun intended?). the ultimate decision is to poop or not at work. and now there are even websites and google maps that help find a local and recommended bathroom (nyrestrooms)!

so i have learned to accept and respect millie's decision making process. it's probably the most important decision she has to make all day. well, next to deciding if she will eat the cat's poop today.

i think katie holmes is super cool.

she peg-rolled her jeans!!! i am sooo rocking that look on my next day off. and when fall comes and it is a little cooler, i am going to wear alternating, layered, scrunched socks as well!!!

ok, so lets try this one last time. the BLAAHHHGGG is back!
I couldn't stay away forever. I was meant to blog! I love the blog!

the problem was, creating the new blog. why is it so hard to come up with a good idea/title for a blog? well, because it is personal, everyone (hopefully!) is reading it, and it has to be meaningful. So when i was reacently thinking of what i would call this blog or what it would really be about. i had a realization, when ever i pick up my phone to tell my best friends lisa the crazy or random story that just happened to me, i ususally think, "this is what i would blog about!" so that's it! this blog is going to basically be a recap of all this crap i talk to lisa on the phone about! well, of course secrets will still be kept - i can't give away everything.
